Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ladies finger-250 gms
  2. Onions-2 big
  3. Oil-1 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds-1 tsp
  5. Asafoetida-1 pinch
  6. Turmeric-1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander cumin powder-1 tsp
  8. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  9. Salt
  10. Amchoor-1/4 tsp
  11. Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  12. For lachha paratha-
  13. Wheat flour-1 cup
  14. Salt-1/2 tsp
  15. Oil-1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. TAKE A TBSP OF OIL AND ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS ON HEATING.
  2. AFTER CUMIN SEEDS SPLUTTER ADD A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA.
  3. NOW ADD 250 GMS LADIES FINGER CHOPPED INTO ROUND PIECES.
  4. MIX AND COOK UNCOVERED ON SLOW HEAT FOR 3 MINUTES.
  5. ADD 2 BIG ONIONS THINLY SLICED.AGAIN MIX AND LET IT COOK UNCOVERED FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES TILL COOKED.
  6. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC,1 TSP CORIANDER CUMIN POWDER AND 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER.
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  8. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES MORE.
  9. LASTLY ADD 1/4 TSP AMCHOOR POWDER AND GARAM MASALA.MIX AND PUT OFF THE FLAME.
  10. KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH WITH 1 CUP WHEAT FLOUR,1/2 TSP SALT AND 1 TBSP OIL.TAKE WATER AS REQUIRED.
  11. TAKE A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH AND ROLL INTO A BIG ROTI.
  12. APPLY LITTLE GHEE ALL OVER AND SPRINKLE SOME DRY WHEAT FLOUR.
  13. NOW FOLD LIKE FAN.
  14. ROLL INTO A CIRCLE AND PRESS SLUGHTLY.
  15. DUST SOME FLOUR AND LIGHTLY ROLL INTO SLIGHTLY THICK PARATHA.
  16. PUT ON HOT SKILLET AT MEDIUM HEAT.
  17. TURN WHEN SLIGHT BROWN SPOTS APPEAR.PUT 1/4 TSP GHEE.TURN AND ROAST PROPERLY.
  18. SIMILARLY ROAST OTHER SIDE ALSO.
