ABOUT Leftover arbi sabji RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Yams or arbi - 1/2 cup
  2. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  3. Salt
  4. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  5. Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  6. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  9. refined oil
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. The yams must be boiled and deep fried, keep them aside.
  2. Now heat a pan with some oil, add the cumin seeds and let them crackle. Now add the ginger paste and saute for few seconds.
  3. Now add the tomato puree along with salt and all the powdered masalas. Cook on a low flame with occasional stirring. Cook until the masala leaves oil.
  4. Now add water for the gravy, mix and let this boil. Once it starts boiling , add the fried yam pieces, and mix.
  5. Check for seasoning, and this is ready to be served.
