Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Peas 1 cup
  2. Basmati rice 1 cup
  3. Salt
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. Mint leaves
  6. For Sauteing
  7. Olive oil 2-3 tbsp / Ghee
  8. Cloves 3
  9. Cardamon 2-3
  10. Bay leaf 1
  11. Fennel Seeds 1 tsp
  12. Cashews
  13. Onion sliced 1
  14. For Crushing
  15. Ginger small piece
  16. Garlic 6 pods
  17. Green chillies 1-2

Instructions

  1. RINSE AND SOAK 1 CUP BASMATI RICE FOR 20 MINUTES
  2. TAKE 1 SLICED ONION, 6 GARLIC CLOVES, GINGER 1 INCH, 1 GREEN CHILLI, 1 TSP FENNEL SEEDS, 3 CLOVES, 2 CARDAMON, 6 CASHEWS AND 2 BAY LEAVES
  3. ADD OIL. SAUTE DRY SPICES
  4. SAUTE SLICED ONION
  5. ADD CRUSHED GINGER, GARLIC AND GREEN CHILLI
  6. SAUTE TILL YOU GET GOOD AROMA
  7. ADD 1 CUP GREEN PEAS. SAUTE
  8. ADD SOAKED RICE. SAUTE
  9. ADD 2-3 CUPS OF WATER
  10. ADD SALT, MINT AND CORIANDER LEAVES. CLOSE WITH A LID AND COOK FOR 10 MINUTES ON MEDIUM FLAME
