This is toffee roll which is loved by kids as it has the shape of toffee and we all know how much kids love to eat toffee. When I made it my son and his friends loved it so much and became so happy to see the toffee shape

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1. Maida- 250 gm
  2. 2. Boiled potatoes- 3
  3. 3. Green chilli- 1
  4. 4. Ginger- 1/4 tsp
  5. 5. Bayleaf- 1
  6. 6. Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
  7. 7. Fengrueek seeds- 1/4 tsp
  8. 8. Fennel seeds- 1/4 tsp
  9. 9. Coriander seeds- 1/4 tsp
  10. 10. Hing- a pinch
  11. 11. Coriander powder- 2 tsp
  12. 12. Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
  13. 13. Dry mango powder- 1/4 tsp
  14. 14. Coriander leaves
  15. 15. Oil for frying
  16. 16. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. ARRANGE ALL THE INGREDIENTS SHOWN.
  2. TAKE A KADAHI AND POUR 3 TBSP OIL AND PUT PINCH OF HING.
  3. NOW ADD BAYLEAF AND CUMIN SEEDS, FENGRUEEK SEEDS, FENNEL SEEDS, CORIANDER SEEDS.
  4. NOW PUT GREEN CHILLI AND CHOPPED GINGER AND SAUTE IT.
  5. NOW ADD MASHED POTATOES.
  6. ADD CORIANDER POWDER.
  7. PUT GARAM MASALA AND RED CHILLI POWDER.
  8. NOW ADD SALT AND DRY MANGO POWDER. MIX WELL.
  9. AFTER FEW MIN ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
  10. NOW THE STUFF IS READY.
  11. TAKE MAIDA IN THE BOWL AND ADD SOME OIL AND SALT.
  12. MIX WELL.
  13. FLOUR BECOMES CRUMBLY AND CAN MAKE THE BALL MEANS MOYAN IS PERFECT.
  14. KNEAD THE DOUGH USING CHILLED WATER.
  15. THE DOUGH IS READY, KEEP THE DOUGH FOR REST FOR 10 MIN.
  16. TAKE A SMALL PORTION OF DOUGH AND MAKE A BALL.
  17. NOW ROLL IT.
  18. PLACE SOME STUFF AT THE CENTRE.
  19. APPLY WATER AT THE EDGE .
  20. COVER IT FROM BOTH SIDE.
  21. NOW USING BOTH END SEAL IT FROM BOTH END AND GIVE THE SHAPE OF TOFFEE.
  22. GIVE THE IMPRESSION WITH THE HELP OF KINFE AS SHOWN IN VIDEO.
  23. YOUR TOFFEE ROLL IS READY.
  24. HEAT THE OIL AND FRY THE TOFFEE ROLL. FLAME SHOULD BE AT LOW OTHERWISE ROLL WILL NOT COME CRISP.
  25. TURN THE ROLL AT PROPER INTERVEL.
  26. IT TURNS INTO NICE GOLDEN COLOUR.
  27. NOW TAKE THEM OUT FROM THE OIL AND KEEP ON THE TISSUE PAPER TO SOAK EXTRA OIL.
  28. SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT LOOKS.
  29. SERVE HOT WITH TOMATO SAUCE AND GREEN CHUTNEY.
