This ragi flakes energy drink is a healthy breakfast drink for kids with healthy ingredients. This drink makes your kids energized for the whole day. Making this energy drink with ragi flakes is quite easy to do. The drink is prepared with ragi flakes, coconut, milk and sweetened with palm jaggery.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup ragi flakes
  2. 3/4 cup palm jaggery
  3. 1.5 cups milk
  4. 1/2 cup grated coconut

Instructions

  1. BOIL 1 CUP WATER. ADD WATER TO RAGI FLAKES
  2. KEEP IT COVERED FOR 15 MINUTES
  3. HEAT PALM JAGGERY IN A VESSEL
  4. ADD 1 CUP WATER AND MIX WELL
  5. STIR UNTIL JAGGERY DISSOLVES COMPLETELY
  6. STRAIN FOR IMPURITIES AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  7. HEAT SOAKED RAGI FLAKES WITH WATER AND MIX WELL
  8. SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES
  9. ADD WARM MILK
  10. ADD GRATED COCONUT AND MIX WELL
  11. COOK FOR 5 MINUTES AND TURN OFF THE HEAT.
  12. AFTER 5 MINUTES, SLOWLY ADD IN THE PALM JAGGERY SYRUP
  13. MIX THEM WELL
  14. HEALTHY RAGI FLAKES ENERGY DRINK IS READY TO BE SERVED
