ABOUT Savoury Muffins RECIPE

Savoury muffins are quick healthy and light snack for kids and elders. Made up of flattened rice/poha and veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Poha 1 cup
  2. Onion 1, chopped
  3. Tomato 1, chopped
  4. Capsicum 1, chopped
  5. ginger 2", grated
  6. Green chilies 2, chopped
  7. Green Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  8. Salt 1 tsp
  9. Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Curd 1/2 cup
  11. Water 1/2 cup
  12. Oil 1 tbsp
  13. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  14. Curry leaves 1 sprig
  15. Eno - 1 Sachet

Instructions

  1. MIX 1 CUP POHA, ONION, TOMATO AND CAPSICUM
  2. ADD GINGER, GREEN CHILIES AND FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
  3. ADD SALT, 1/4 TSP RED CHILI
  4. ADD TEMPERING OF 1 TBSP HOT OIL, 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, CURRY LEAVES
  5. ADD 1 CUP CURD , 1/2 CUP WATER, MIX AND REST FOR 15 MINS
  6. ADD 1 SACHET OF ENO, MIX WELL
  7. POUR BATTER IN MUFFIN MOULDS, MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 3 MINS
