Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Raw rice flour 2 cups
  2. Water - 2 cups + 1/2 cup
  3. Sesame oil 2 tsp
  4. Salt required
  5. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. BOIL 2 CUPS OF WATER WITH SALT
  2. WHEN THE WATER STARTS BOILING ADD 2 CUPS OF RAW RICE FLOUR
  3. MIX FLOUR WITH WATER USING A SPOON
  4. REST IT FOR 5 MINS TO COOL
  5. ADD 2 TSP OIL AND 1/2 CUP OF WATER TO KNEAD DOUGH
  6. DOUGH SHOULD BE LUMP FREE AND SHOULD NOT STICK
  7. GREASE IDIYAPPAM STEAM PLATE
  8. USE SMALL HOLES MOULD FOR IDIYAPPAM, ADD RICE DOUGH TO THE MOULD
  9. PREHEAT THE STEAMER AND PRESS THE MOULD ON PLATE IN CIRCULAR PATTERN
  10. STEAM FOR 10 MINS ON MEDIUM FLAME. REST THE IDIYAPPAM FOR 2 MINS. SERVE WARM
