Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chickpea flour 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Orange juice 1 cup
  4. Pinch of Food Colour
  5. Cardamom Powder 1 /4 teaspoon
  6. Ghee 2 teaspoon
  7. Cashew nuts 8
  8. Salt 1/8 teaspoon
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup Orange juice on low heat
  2. Add 1/8 teaspoon of salt into 1 cup Chickpea flour
  3. Add a pinch of food colour
  4. Add a little water and make a Smooth batter
  5. Pour the besan batter into Hot oil through a slotted Spoon
  6. Fry the boondis till golden Brown and crisp
  7. Add the cooked boondis Into the sugar syrup
  8. Switch off heat when dry
  9. Cool and grind
  10. Add fried cashews into the Ground boondi mix
  11. Add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom Powder
  12. Shape into laddoos and serve
