ABOUT Milk Powder Barfi RECIPE

Milk powder burfi is a simple and easy burfi recipe or milk powder fudge recipe prepared with just 4 ingredients including milk powder, milk, ghee, and sugar. An ideal indian sweet recipe perfect for festivals like rakhi, deepawali and ganesh chaturthi which can be prepared within 15 minutes without much hassle. this a cheat version prepared with combination of milk and milk powder. Always Use low flame to cook while stirring continuosly. Oterwise the milk solid can stick to bottom and can change its colour. Lastly do not cook further once the milk solids forms a lumps. If it cooked further, it would turn chewy.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/4 cup ghee
  2. 3/4 cup milk powder
  3. 1/2 cup Sugar
  4. 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  5. 2tbsp almonds, chopped
  6. 2 tbsp pistachios

Instructions

  1. IN 1/4 CUP GHEE, ADD 3/4 CUP MILK
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP SUGAR, MIX & COOK ON SLOW HEAT
  3. ADD 2.5 CUPS MILK POWDER
  4. STIR CONTINUOUSLY TO AVOID LUMPS
  5. ADD 1/4 CARDAMOM POWDER, COOK FOR 10 MINS & TAKE OFF HEAT
  6. TRANSFER THE PREPARED DOUGH ON TO A GREASED & LINED DISH
  7. ADD A FEW SLIVERED ALMONDS & PISTACHIOS
  8. PRESS LIGHTLY ON TOP
  9. SET FOR 2 HOURS & UNMOULD
  10. CUT INTO SQUARES & SERVE
