Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 250gm gram flour
  2. 1 tsp carom seeds
  3. 10-12 cloves
  4. 10-12 black pepper
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 cup oil
  8. 1 1/2 cup water
  9. Salt as required
  10. 1/4 tsp baking soda
  11. 1 tsp all purpose flour
  12. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. FOR MAKING MASALA...GRIND 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS,10-12 EACH CLOVE AND BLACK PEPPERS
  2. TAKE 1/2 CUP OIL IN A BOWL,ADD 1 AND 1/2 CUP WATER
  3. ADD 1/4 TSP BAKING SODA AND 1 TSP SALT TO IT
  4. MIX THIS MIXTURE..IT WILL TURN INTO WHITE COLOUR
  5. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1/2 TSP TURMERIC,1 TSP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  6. ADD THE GRINDED MASALA INTO IT AND MIX WELL
  7. ADD THE 250 GMS GRAM FLOUR IN BATCHES MIXING PROPERLY
  8. IF REQUIRED ..ADD MORE WATER..FORM MEDIUM DOUGH.
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP ASAFOEDIA MIXED IN 1 TSP WATER..FINALLY ADD TO THE DOUGH AND MIX WELL
  10. GREESE YOUR HANDS AND SEV MOULD WITH OIL..PLACE SMALL AMOUNT OF DOUGH IN SEV MAKER STAND
  11. HEAT OIL IN A PAN.. PRESS AND SQUEEZE THE MOULD OVER THE PAN TO MAKE SEV OVER MEDIUM HEAT
  12. FRY THE SEV TILL GOLDEN BROWN .
  13. REMOVE FROM FLAME. STRAIN EXTRA OIL AND PLACE IT IN ANOTHER VESSEL..REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS..
