Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Cabbage shredded 2 cups
  2. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Salt as required
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Red Chilli powder 1/2 tablespoon
  6. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Rice flour 1 cup
  8. Corn flour 3 tablespoons
  9. Water to sprinkle as required
  10. Moringa leaves 20
  11. Cooking oil for brushing
  12. Other Ingredients :
  13. Onion 2 medium sized finely chopped
  14. Garlic finely chopped 2 tablespoons
  15. Spring onions sliced 3 tablespoons
  16. Szechuan sauce 4 tablespoons
  17. Capsicum green diced 1 medium sized
  18. Oil 2 tablespoons
  19. Spring onions for garnishing chopped

Instructions

  1. Take 2 cups shredded cabbage in a wide bowl .
  2. Add preferred salt .
  3. Add 1/2 tablespoon red chilly powder.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste .
  5. Add 1 cup rice flour .
  6. Add 3 tablespoons corn flour.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon coriander powder .
  8. Mix all together by crushing cabbage .
  9. Add few moringa leaves for flavor .
  10. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder .
  11. Sprinkle little water and mix to a moist dough .
  12. Hold balls out the dough .
  13. Heat a tawa in low .
  14. Line a aluminum thick sheet on tawa . Place the cabbage balls . Smear oil on the balls .
  15. Cover and bake for 7 minutes in low as shown .
  16. The lower side is brown . Flip side and bake until done . Remove from the heat .
  17. Heat 2 tablespoons oil on a tawa . Sauté 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic .
  18. Add 2 medium sized onions . Sauté until translucent . Add salt .
  19. Add 3 tablespoons sliced spring onions . Sauté .
  20. Add 1 diced medium sized green capsicum . Sauté until crunchy .
  21. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons Szechuan sauce .
  22. Now add the cabbage balls and toss in the sauce . Roast for 5 minutes in low heat .
  23. Garnish with chopped spring onions . Tawa Szechuan Cabbage balls are ready.
