For grains mixture Foxtail millets 4 cup
Brown rice 2 cup
Red lentils 1/2 cup
Split green gram 1/2 cup
Split bengal gram 1/4 cup
Split black gram 1/4 cup
Split red gram 1/4 cup
Barle 1/4 cup
For Healthy Khichadi
Grains mixture 2 cup
Fresh corn 1/2 cup
Chopped spinach 1/2 vup
Chopped carrots 1/2 cup
Chopped Tondali 1/2 cup
Chopped long beans 1/2 cup
Chopped coliflower 1/2 cup
Chopped capcicum 1/2 cup
Chopped onion 1
Split cut green chillies 5pcs
Curry leaves 8
Crushed garlic 1 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Goda masala or any masala 2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Oil 2 Tbsp
Salt as per taste
Instructions
WASH 3 TO 4 TIMES ALL GRAINS.AND SOAK FOR 2 HOURS.
PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS.
IN PRESSURE COOKER HEAT 2 TBSP OIL.
IN OIL ADD MUSTARD SEEDS,CUMIN SEEDS AND CHILLIES.
ADD CURRY LEAVES AND HING.
ADD CHOPPED ONIONS.
AFTER ONIONS TURNS SLIGHTLY BROWN ADD ALL VEGETABLES TURN BY TURN.
ADD ALL DRY MASALA.
ADD SOAKED GRAINS IN IT.
ADD SALT.
ADD 4 CUP HOT WATER.
AFTER 5 WHISTLE ON HIGH FLAME REDUCE IT AND COOK FOR 10 MIN ON SIM GAS.AFTER THAT SWITCH OFF THE GAS
