Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cup dosa rice
  2. 3-4 cup ripe jackfruit
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water 1 cup
  5. Coconut oil to grease idli moulds

Instructions

  1. COMBINE 4 HOURS SOAKED RICE, SALT TO TASTE AND SOME WATER
  2. GRIND COARSELY, TRANSFER INTO A BOWL
  3. PEELED, DESEEDED RIPE JACKFRUIT 3 CUP
  4. GRIND COARSELY
  5. TRANSFER INTO THE SAME BOWL
  6. MIX WELL
  7. THE CONSISTENCY OF THE BATTER SHOULD BE LITTLE THICKER THAN IDLI BATTER
  8. GREASE IDLI MOULDS WITH COCONUT OIL
  9. POUR THE BATTER INTO THE CAVITIES
  10. HEAT WATER IN IDLI STEAMER, PLACE THESE ON IDLI STEAMER
  11. CLOSE THE LID AND COOK IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 20-25 MINUTES
  12. CHECK THE COOKNESS, IF IT COMES CLEAN, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND ALLOW IT TO WARM, REMOVE AND SERVE
