ABOUT Kalakand RECIPE

Kalakand is a delicious milk based sweet, usually preapared on festivals like diwali, or holi. Traditional cooking approach requires longer cooking time, here i m sharing instant approach..

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 500gm grated paneer
  2. 1 tin condensed milk
  3. 1/4 Tsp cardmom powder
  4. 8 to 10 pistachios, finely chopped for garnishing
  5. Ghee for greasing pan or thali
  6. 1 cup Chocolate chips( optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan add grated paneer, condensed milk and mix well.
  2. Put on lowflame.
  3. Stir continuously and cook until it turns thicker.
  4. As u stir n cook, mixture will start stick on the side if the pan.
  5. Add cardmom powder and mix everything well and turn off the flame.
  6. Transfer mixture to greased plate.
  7. Spread evenly with spatula.
  8. Let it cool down to room tempratue.
  9. Microwave chocochips for 30 secends, pour over kalaiand mixture n spread evenly.
  10. Sprinkle chopped pistacho n keep in fridge for 2 hours.
  11. Remove from fridge n cut into square n serve..
