Heat a pan on medium heat
Add Ghee , poppy seeds and dry fruits
Roast the poppy seeds and dry fruits well
Add fresh coconut and cook for 2 minutes
Add jaggery mix well
Cook for 5 minutes
Switch off the gas and add Cardamom powder mix well
For covering
Heat water on medium heat and salt Ghee
Let the water boil
Turn off the heat and add rice flour
Mix well no pumps should be formed
Cover the pan keep it for 5 minutes
Take the mixture into a dough
Kaned it while it's hot
Take a small tennis ball size dough and roll it into small bowl
Roll into the shape of Modak
Meanwhile take 1 Inch water in idli cooker and bring into boil
Take a pat put a dish on it put a wet cloth on dish
Now put Modak on this wet cloth
Put this pot into idli cooker
Close the cooker for 15 to 20 minutes
Remove the lid and take out the Modak
SERVING: 5
