ABOUT Paneer Bhurji Bhuni RECIPE

Fresh paneer made at home, crumbled to make a north favourite Bhurji with fine golden fried onions. A tangy tasting soft bhurji served with roti/naan/paratha or even to use as a filling to make Paneer rolls with Mayo.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 150 gms Paneer
  2. 1 big sized onion
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 1/2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  5. Salt and red chilli powder as per taste
  6. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp cumin and coriander powder
  8. 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  9. Garam masala, optional
  10. Oil as per choice

Instructions

  1. Make the fresh paneer at home or buy fresh soft paneer. Then crumble it well and keep aside.
  2. Chop the onion and tomatoes finely as well.
  3. Heat oil, add onions to fry till they turn golden,and add ginger garlic paste
  4. Add salt, turmeric and stir well then add tomatoes and all the spices.
  5. Cook all till its well cooked, then add the masalas and let the aroma develop.
  6. Next, add the crumbled paneer, mix it well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve it warm with hot chapatis.
