Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Krele/Bitterguard 1kg
  2. onion 1kg
  3. Oil for msala 6-7tsp andfor deep frying
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Turmaric powder 1tsp
  6. Red chilky poqdee 1tsp
  7. Garm msala 1tsp
  8. Amchoor 1tsp
  9. Mango pickle/or its msala 2tsp
  10. Roastwd cumin seed and dhania seed powder 2tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut Bitterguard /Krele in round without peeling and add 3-4tsp salt and rub salt in it and set aside them for 5-6hours the salt will cut the biterness from it..
  2. Now wash the krele /bitterguard in running water so that excess salt washed away and spread them in a basket or cloth to dry for 15 min
  3. Get ready all spices
  4. Now chop onions coarsly
  5. Heat a heavy bottom pan/wok and add 6-7tsp oil and add chopped onions in it and saute it till golden brown add some salt.. Salt will help onion to brown easily
  6. Now D seed the Bitterguard if necessary.. If there is hard seeds remove them
  7. Now other side put oil for deep frying the Bitterguard/krela
  8. After deep frying the Bitterguard spread it on paper napkin it will soak excess oil
  9. When the onion masalA turn golden brown. Add spices in it and mix them
  10. Now add fried Bitterguard in it and mix well and cover it for five min on low flame.. Sabji is ready to serve with chapati
