Malwani cuisine is very popular in parts of coastal Maharashtra and in Goa. To make this gravy two types of coconut is used one in the form of coconut paste and in the form of coconut milk.
It goes well with boiled rice.
Wash fish and apply salt and turmeric powder, keep aside
Grate coconut
In a pan heat little oil add onion, fry till pink in colour
Add both the red chillies and fry
Add cummin and grated coconut
Take a mixie jar add coconut mixture, ginger garlic and turmeric powder.
Make a fine paste.
1/2 coconut just make a fine paste with hot water, remove milk and again one more time grind and remove milk.
In a Vessel heat oil add grinded masala let it cook, till oil seprates
Add water
Now add coconut milk and cook for 1-2 minutes
Finally add fish check seasoning
Cook for 1-2 minutes
Your malwani fish curry is ready to serve with steam rice.
