Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton Keema - 250 grams
  2. Basmati Rice - 1 cup
  3. Moong dal - 1/4 cup
  4. Green chilies - 5
  5. Onion - 2
  6. Tomato - 1
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  8. Chili powder - 2 tablespoon
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  11. Cardamom - 3
  12. Cloves - 2
  13. Chopped coriander - 1/4 cup
  14. Chopped mint leaves - 1/4 cup
  15. Curd - 2 tablespoon
  16. Cashew paste - 2 tablespoon
  17. Coconut milk - 2 cups
  18. Ghee - 1 tablespoon
  19. Oil - 3 tablespoon
  20. Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and moong dal and soak in water for half an hour.
  2. Heat ghee and oil in a kadai. Add cloves cinnamon cardamom and saute for half a minute.
  3. Add thinly sliced onion and fry them till it become translucent.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes away.
  5. After that add chopped tomatoes green chilies mutton keema masalas and curd.
  6. Add chopped mint and coriander leaves. Simmer it for about 10 minutes.
  7. Pour required amount of water. When it comes to boil add coconut milk cashew paste and salt.
  8. After that add soaked rice and dal and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  9. Once pressure releases open and mash it well.
  10. Heat it again. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
