ABOUT Arbi kofta with gravy RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cups arbi boiled, peeled and mashed
  2. 2 boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
  3. 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
  4. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  5. 2 teaspoons garam masala powder
  6. 1 cup corn flour
  7. Vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Kofta's:-. Mix all the ingredients for kofta, excluding the vegetable oil, and make small balls out of the mixture.
  2. Heat a deep frying pan with oil. Deep fry the koftas.Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside
  3. For the gravy Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds.
  4. When the seeds crackle, add the onion paste and saute till they turn golden brown in colour.
  5. Add the tomato paste and all the masalas, mix well and saute for 3 minutes. 1 cup of water, mix well and bring to boil it for 5-7 minutes.Add tha koftas.
  6. Sprinkle some garam masala and corriender mix well. Serve hot with naan chapatis. -
