Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati rice...300gm
  2. Cinnamon stick...1"
  3. Green cardamom...4
  4. Cloves...4
  5. Star anise...1
  6. Jayatri...1
  7. Lemon juice....1tspn
  8. Chicken...500gm
  9. Curd...50gm
  10. Ginger garlic paste...3tspn
  11. Red chilli powder...2tspn
  12. Turmeric powder...3tspn
  13. Cumin powder...1tspn
  14. Coriander powder...1tspn
  15. Chopped onion...1 big
  16. Garam masala...1tspn
  17. Egg...3
  18. Boiled Potato...3
  19. Onion birista...1 bowl
  20. Meetha aatar...1drop
  21. Rose water...3 drops
  22. Keora water...3 drops
  23. Ghee...1/2cup
  24. Oil ...4tspn
  25. Wheat flour...1cup(for coating the pan)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, curd,cumin powder, coriander powder & oil.Marinate it for at least 5 to 6 hours.
  2. Soak rice in water for 15 minutes & then boil it with lemon juice , star anise, cloves,jayatri,green cardamom & cinnamon stick.
  3. Heat oil, add salt & turmeric powder & fry boiled eggs & potatoes in it.
  4. Fry & take out from oil.
  5. Add chopped onion & ginger garlic paste.Saute it for a while.
  6. Add all spices.
  7. Add marinated chicken & mix it well with spices.Add some hot water, cover it & let it cook till boil.
  8. Add boiled & fried eggs & potato in it to mix with spices.When spice mix with it properly take out eggs & potatoes from gravy.
  9. Now assembling time.Take a heavy bottomed vessel, put cooked chicken in it.
  10. Spread one layer of half cooked rice on it.
  11. Place boiled, fried eggs & potatoes, biryani masala,onion birista & ghee.
  12. Cover this layer with rice again.Sprinkle suffron mix milk,meetha aatar, rose water, keora water.Cover with lid & seal it with flour dough.Cook it in low flame for at least 20 minutes.After that switch off the flame & keep rest for another 15 minutes.
  13. Its ready now.Serve it with salad & raita.
