Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida - 3 cup
  2. Ghee-1/2 cup
  3. For the syrup::
  4. Any flavor- rose water or kewra- 1 tsp
  5. Sugar -2 cup
  6. Water- less than 1/2 cup
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take maida, add ghee to it, then take some water and knead a tight dough. Divide this into 7 dough balls.
  2. Take one ball and roll it like a roti, then from one side start rolling it cylindrical and seal it with water.
  3. Press it with a rolling pin slightly and cut it into small pieces.
  4. Heat oil, put them in batches and fry till its golden brown in colour. Follow this process for all.
  5. Take sugar in pan, add water and boil it till all the sugar dissolves. Then add the flavor. Turn off the stove.
  6. Add the fried shakkarpare and continue mixing till the sugar gets dry. Cool it completely and enjoy!
