ABOUT Spaghetti Bolognaise RECIPE

Tried and tasted the traditional Italian Spaghetti dish, Really delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. spaghetti - 250 gm
  2. ground beef or mutton - 400 gm
  3. chopped onion big - 1
  4. chopped garlic cloves -6
  5. green capsicum -1
  6. tomatoes chopped - 400 gm
  7. tomato paste - half cup
  8. tomato sauce - 1 cup
  9. dried oregano - 2 tsp
  10. dried parsley - 2 tsp
  11. dried basil -half - 1tsp
  12. pepper powder - half tsp
  13. chilli flakes - half tsp
  14. olive oil - 3 tbsp
  15. grated parmesan cheese - 4 tbsp for garnishing ( optional) use 1 tbsp for each serving..
  16. chopped fresh parsley to garnish.
  17. salt - to taste.

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the instruction given in the pack.
  2. Boil enough water in a wide pan add spaghetti and salt to taste ,when it boils add 2 tsp oil.let it cook for another 10 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan add chopped onion stir well,then add chopped garlic and stir again for 1 minute.
  4. Add cleaned,rinsed,drained ground meat and stir well for few minutes until dry and half cooked.
  5. Then add chopped tomatoes, mix well, add tomato sauce,tomato paste mix and add chopped capsicum. let it altogether cook in a medium flame.Add salt to taste.
  6. Add dried parsley,oregano and basil. Mix well.
  7. Then add pepper powder and chilli flakes.Mix again, simmer the flame close and cook for another one hour. In between open the lid and stir well.
  8. After one hour yummy spaghetti sauce with ground meat is ready to serve.
  9. Place warm spaghetti on a bowl or plate, top with ground meat sauce ,garnish with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley and serve immediately.
