A delicious tea time snack

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana dal : 1 cup
  2. Onion : 2
  3. Green chillies : 2
  4. Curry leaves : 10
  5. Cumin : 1 teaspoon
  6. Garlic : 5 pods
  7. Salt : to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak chana dal in water for 1 hour
  2. Grind chana dal in to a course paste. Should not grind it mashy
  3. Add chopped onion, green chillies, mashed garlic, cumin, chopped curry leaves and salt
  4. Mix well and fry in hot oil untill it becomes golden brown
  5. Once it is done put it in paper towel to absorb oil
  6. Serve hot with tea.
