Ingredients: Sabudana 1 cup; Potato 1; peas 2 tbsp; Chana dal 1 tbsp; Cumin seeds 1 tsp; grated ginger 1 tsp; Asafoetida 1/2 tsp; Green chilli 1; Lemon juice 1 tbsp; Salt to taste; sugar 1 tsp; Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp

Sabudana 1 cup
Potato 1
peas 2 tbsp
Chana dal 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
grated ginger 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
Green chilli 1
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
sugar 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

Soak 1 cup big pearls of sabudana for 3-4 hours or overnight and drain water completely
Cut 1 potato into small pieces with peas and pressure cook for 4 whistles on high flame.Can add more vegetables of choice.
In a wok take 2 tbspmustard oil
Add 1 tbsp jeera
Add 1tbsp chana dal
Add 1/2 tsp asafoetida powder
Add one green chilli
Add 1 tsp grated ginger
Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Fry/stir above for a minute
Add the sabudana to the oil
Add the boiled potatoes,peas after all the pearls of sabudana gets almost covered by oil
Can add little oil from sides if pearls getting sticky
In a bowl take 1tbsp fresh lime juice,1 tsp or as per taste sugar,salt as per taste
Now add the lemon juice mixture from top and stir all over
Turn off the heat immidiately as you notice the pearls turning sticky
Add corriander leaves,fried peanuts on top for garnishing(optional)
Serve hot.
