In a wok , heat 1 tablespoon butter , add 1.5 onion finely chopped . Sauté till it becomes translucent . Add the garlic paste , cumin powder and sauté for few seconds . Then add the vegetable pulp . Add the dry powders . Mix well and cook for another 3 minutes until the masala blends completely . Now add the reserved boiled potato strips and mix well . Cook for two minutes . Switch off the flame . Add dollops of butter generously on top .
