Tapioca wafers are very light crispy and spicy snack. These wafers can also be combined to a rice bowl as sides. Preparation process involves more time like making papads during summers. Drying these wafers is more important. Can also say its perfect summer time recipe. These wafers can be prepared and stored in an air tight container.

Remove the hard brown skin of tapioca and boil in a pressure cooker with enough water and salt. Wait till three whistle.
Drain the soft boiled tapioca, remove the center thick strand and roughly chop it.
In a dry mixer add red chilly cumin and powder it coarse.
In a mixer add chopped tapioca add it smooth. It will roll up like a dough. Make sure there is no lumps. Small lumps are neglible
In a bowl take grinded tapioca powdered spice and salt to taste. And mix well.
Apply oil in your hands and make small lemon size balls, press these balls in a roti maker and place it over a plastic sheet.
Sun dry these flatten soft wafers for a day. Turn the wafers to dry the other side as well.
Once these wafers are sun dried completly store it a box.
Add oil in a pan and fry the wafers.
