ABOUT Chilli Paratha RECIPE

A mildly spiced dish with paratha, veg and egg bits.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paratha (kerala type, optional) 3 nos
  2. Onion 1 large chopped
  3. Capsicum 1 small chopped
  4. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
  5. Green chillies 3 or 4 chopped finely
  6. Tomato 1 small chopped
  7. Carrot 1 small chopped
  8. Beans 4 or 5 nos chopped
  9. Spring onions 2 or 3 chopped
  10. Eggs 2 or 3 whisked
  11. Oil 2 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Chilli powder 2 tsp
  14. Tomato sauce 2 tsp
  15. Soya sauce 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the paratha to bite size pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok, add carrots, beans and saute well. To this, add onion, capsicum, spring onions and keep sautéing.
  3. Lastly add tomato, and salt to melt the tomato pieces. Add all the masala powders and sauces and cook till raw smell disappears.
  4. In another pan, cook the whisked eggs and add it to the masala. Finally add the paratha pieces and saute well.
  5. Check for seasoning and serve it hot!
