ABOUT Liver gravy RECIPE

This is one of my favourite recipes, a delicious curry made with liver, to be served with roti or naan.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Goat Liver : ¼ kg
  2. Sesame oil : 4 tsp
  3. Small onion : 15
  4. Tomato : 1
  5. Cinnamon : 1
  6. Cardamom : 2
  7. Cloves : 2
  8. Fennel seeds : ½ tsp
  9. Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
  10. Garam masala : ½ tsp
  11. Chilli powder : 1 tsp
  12. Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
  13. Salt
  14. For coconut paste
  15. Grated coconut : 4 tsp
  16. Cumin seeds : ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the liver for 5 min on medium flame and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, chopped onion and saute it
  3. Add tomato and saute it
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 sec
  5. Add chilli powder, salt and saute it
  6. Add cooked liver , required water and cook for 10 min
  7. Add coconut paste and cook for 2 min
