An unusual yet delicious kofta curry made with prawns. Ultimate combination with rice, chapathi and idiyappam.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a kadaai
Add prawns and let it cooked for 2-3 minutes
Then add little salt and around 1 tablespoon of chilli powder
After 5 minutes switch off the flame and allow it to cool
In a mixie jar add cooked prawns, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 green chilli, 1 onion, half a cup of grated coconut and Bengal gram
Grind. Transfer it to a bowl
Add the remaining coconut in the mixie jar and grind it into a smooth paste
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a kadaai
Add the remaining onion and green chillies and saute well
Once the onion becomes transparent add remaining ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell goes
Then add finely chopped tomatoes and salt and remaining amount of chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and saute well
Then add grounded coconut paste
Mix everything together and keep it in high flame for 4-5 minutes
After 4-5 minutes take a lemon sized quantity of the grounded prawn batter and put it in the gravy
After putting all the batter close the kadaai with a lid and keep it low flame for 5-6 minutes
