Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Onion : 1
  2. Tomato : 1
  3. Chickpeas : 1 cup
  4. Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
  5. Mustard seeds :  ½ tsp
  6. Coriander leaves
  7. Curry leaves
  8. Chilli powder : 1 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder : ½ tsp
  10. Salt
  11. Oil 2 tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp
  13. For Coconut paste :
  14. Grated Coconut : 3 tsp
  15. Cumin seeds : ½ tsp
  16. Green chilli : 2

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the chickpeas 5 -10 min over medium flame and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute mustard seed, cumin seeds.
  3. Let them crackle for a minute and add onion saute for 2 min.
  4. Add tomato, ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, garam masala, curry leaves and keep saute to 2 min.
  5. Add some water and cook for 3 mins.
  6. Add boiled chickpeas, water, salt mix well and cook for 10 min
  7. Add coconut paste and keep saute for 2 min. Add coriander leaves
