Ingredients Serving: 10
Chicken - 500 gms
Oil - 2 tbsp
Dry chilli - 3 pieces
Salt to taste
Suger - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Cumin seed powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Yoghurt - 50 gms
Onion - 2 large
Garlic - 2 tbsp
Tomato - 1 piece (big size)
Potato - 3 small pieces (cut in half)
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Egg - 2 (boiled)
Ingredients :- (for the rice)
Basmati rice - 250 gm (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Bay leaf - 3 pic
Cloves - 4 pie
Green cardamom - 4 pie
Cinnamon stick - 5 pie (small pieces)
Saffron strands - 1 pinch (soaked in milk)
Black pepper - 1 tbsp
Biryani garam masala - 1 tbsp
Kerwa water - 1 tbsp
Metha attr - 1 drop
Ingredients :- (for the biryani garam masala)
Green cardamom - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon stick - 1 tbsp (small pie)
Cloves - 1 tsp
Black cardamom - 1 pie
black pepper - 1 tsp
Jawti - half flower
Nutmeg powder - 1/2 tsp
Kabab Chini - 1 tsp
Shahi jeera - 1/2 tsp
Shahi morij - 1 tsp
Instructions
Methods :-
Step - 1
If you making the Biryabi garam masala from scratch , make it first .
First heat the pan and dry fry the whole ingredients . Now grid thr Garam masala in a blender and its ready for use making any type biryani
Step - 2
Marinate the chicken with the mentioned ingredients with 1 tbsp oil along for 2-3 hours in refrigerator .
Step - 3
Heat the pan for a few minutes and pour oil in it . Put the potato pieces in the pan and shallow fry high flame for 2 minutes . Keep aside .
Step - 4
When done , put the marinated chicken in the pan add the fried potatoes and add 1 cup of water mix well for 15 minutes and put of the flame . See that the chicken is cooked through . Let it rest .
Step - 5
Now take 2 liter of water in a bowl and boil . Then add salt and bay leaf . Few minutes later add the water soaked rice . When half cooked , strain out the rice .
Step - 6
The a big container and pour white oil add green cardamon , cloves , cinnamon sticks . Now it's time to make some layers .
In a first layer add cooked chicken , in the next layer add some quantity of strained rice , then add garam masala , black pepper and salt .
Add the remaining rice and add ghee , Saffron milk and seal the container from above .
Step -7
Now take a layer container with half liter water , and put it on the stove .
Next put the previously sealed container above the large one .
Step - 8
Cook in high flame for 5 minutes and 15 minutes in low flame .
When done, turn off the gas and let it rest for 15-20 minutes .
Step - 9
Serve with your favorite side dish - chicken chaap or mutton razzela
