Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong dal dhuli 1 cup
  2. Chana dal 1/4 cup
  3. Salt and pepper to taste
  4. Ginger julienned 1 tsp
  5. Grated radish 1 cup
  6. Coriander and mint chutney
  7. Few coriander leaves
  8. Green chilli chopped 2 nos
  9. Oil for frying
  10. 1 pinch of baking soda

Instructions

  1. Soak the moong dal and chana dal for a minimum of 6 hours. After this time, grind them in a coarse paste. It should neither be of thin or thick consistency.
  2. Add salt, pepper, coriander leaves and green chillies to the batter with a pinch of baking soda.
  3. Now make medium sized balls and fry till they turn brown in colour. Take them out and arrange on a platter.
  4. Put some grated radish and green chutney on it and serve it hot.
