ABOUT Dahi murg RECIPE

Chicken cooked in creamy yoghurt based gravy and spices, absolutely lip smacking.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken with bones - 500 gm
  2. Chopped onion - 2
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  4. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  5. (Cloves+cinnamon+cardamom) powder - 2 tsp
  6. Yoghurt - 1 cup
  7. Salt
  8. Bay leaf - 1
  9. Refined oil
  10. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients, except the onions, coriander leaves and oil. Marinate for atleast 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a kadhai, add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
  3. 3. Add the marinated chicken and cook on a medium flame till done.
  4. 4. Add little water to make a gravy. Add the chopped coriander leaves and serve.
