Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sweet potatoes-3 medium sized
  2. Sprouts-1/2 cup
  3. Onion-1no
  4. Tomatoes-3
  5. Coriander leaves-50g
  6. Puffed rice-2cup
  7. Sevai-for topping
  8. Green chutney:
  9. Coriander leaves-1/3cup
  10. Mint leaves-1/3cup
  11. G.chillies-2
  12. Coconut shavings-3tbsp
  13. Jeera powder-1 tsp
  14. Black salt-to taste
  15. Lime juice-2tsp
  16. Imli chutney:
  17. Tamarind-small gooseberry size
  18. Dates soaked in water-5 or 6
  19. Jeera powder-1/2 tsp
  20. Black salt-to taste
  21. Powders:
  22. Chilli powder-1/2tsp
  23. Mango powder-3/4tsp
  24. Chaat masala-1tsp
  25. Jeera powder-1 1/2tsp
  26. Salt/black salt-to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil sweet potatoes in pressure cooker for 4-5 whistle
  2. Wash and chop all the ingredients including sweet potatoes
  3. Keep all the masalas ready
  4. Prepare the chutneys as given in ingredients. Green chutney and imli chutney..
  5. Mix all the vegetables with masalas and chutney except sevai and puffed rice
  6. While serving add puffed rice,sevai and coriander leaves on top and serve immediately
  7. Don't leave it long or else puffed rice will turn soggy
