This is a quick recipe of banana fry, that can be served with some dal rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Raw banana starting to ripe 1 number (preferably kerala nenthran kai)
  2. Chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Curry leaves powder 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Oil 2 table spoon
  6. Mustard seed 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Urud dal 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Red chilly 1 number
  9. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Cut banana and put in a pan. Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt
  2. Sprinkle some drops of water and add 1 table spoon oil
  3. Cook it closed in low flame for 2 minutes
  4. Stir often
  5. Let it fry crispy
  6. In a pan add oil and add mustard seed and urud Dal, red chilly and curry leaves
  7. Add seasoning and serve hot
