ABOUT Corn pulao RECIPE

A delicious one pot meal, to be served with some raita.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice (soaked) 1cup
  2. Frozen/fresh sweet corn 3/4cup
  3. garlic ginger paste 1tsp
  4. Onion big 1 cut in long
  5. Bay leafs 2
  6. Capsicum 1/2 cut in long
  7. whole black pepper 5-6
  8. jeera 1/2tsp
  9. salt as per taste
  10. Water as required
  11. Oil 2tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in cooker, saute jeera [cumin seeds] bay leaf & black pepper.
  2. Then add onion and cook until it becomes pink. .
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste & cook for 1-2mins.
  4. Now add corn, capsicum & salt , mix well & cook for 3-4 mins.
  5. Then add soaked rice & water. Cover with the lid and cook until 2 whistles are attained.
  6. Now your corn pulao is ready, open the lid once the pressure is released. Stir and serve with some raita on the side.
