It is a delicious panjabi receipe often loved by everyone. It is a tangy and tasty curry which is protein rich due to chickpea flour added to it.

For kadhi :Chickpea flour 1/2 cup
Curd 700 gm whisked
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder 2 teaspoon
Green chillies 2 chopped
Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Garam masala 1 teaspoon
Oil 2 tablespoon
Water 2 cups
Onion 1 chopped
Onion 1 paste
Ginger 2 tablespoon chopped
Garlic 4 tablespoon chopped
Tomato puree of 4 tomatoes
For pakodas:
1/2 cup chickpea flour
Water 1/4 cup
Oil 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Green chillies chopped 1
Ginger chopped 2 teaspoon
Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
Dry pomegranate seeds 1 teaspoon
Garam masala 1 teaspoon
Kasoori methi 1 tablespoon
Oil for frying
For second tempering:
Ghee 3 tablespoon
Mustard seed 2 teaspoon
Chopped ginger 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves
Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
Red chilli whole 2
Instructions
First add besan and curd whisk it properly. Add turmeric powder . Keep it aside for 10 mintues.
Heat oil in a pan add fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and garlic. Saute it and add chopped onion and ginger saute it. After few minutes add onion paste. Cook it till it leaves oil.
Add tomato puree and cook till it leaves oil. Add slitted green chillies and mix well. Add whisked curd mixture. And stir constantly. Keep stirring constantly on medium flame. Add water, salt and mix well.
Keep cooking on medium flame for 30 minutes. Sitr occasionally.
Add garam masala. After 30 minutes your kadhi is ready.
Now make batter for pakoda mix all the ingredients except oil. Whisk well.
Heat oil make dumplings and pour in oil and fry till crispy. Add these dumplings to kadhi and boil for 5 minutes. Add kasoori methi. Mix well.
Now for 2nd tempering add ghee into a pan add all ingredients and when it starts spluttering pour this tempering over kadhi and close the lid.
After few minutes mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
Your kadhi pakoda is ready to serve.
