Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup sooji/ bansi rava
  2. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  3. Curry leaves bunch
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. Urad dal 1/2 tsp
  6. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  7. Green chillies 2
  8. Water
  9. Tomato 1
  10. Onion 2
  11. Carrot 1
  12. Turmeric powder a pinch
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Ghee 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast sooji till fragrant
  2. In a pan take ghee
  3. Add mustard seeds
  4. When it splutters add urad dal and saute
  5. Add curry leaves
  6. Add slit green chillies
  7. Add onions and saute till translucent
  8. Add tomato and carrot pieces
  9. Add turmeric powder and garam masala powder and salt
  10. Add 3 cups water and bring to boil
  11. Add roasted sooji while continuously stirring
  12. Cover and cook for two minutes till water evaporates
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves
  14. Serve hot
