Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Americano Italian(oregano flavoured) Burger buns
  2. For the patty or tikki
  3. 1 carrot grated
  4. 2 Potatoes boiled and mashed
  5. 2 tablespoons boiled green peas
  6. 2 green chillies chopped
  7. 2 tablespoons spring onion greens chopped
  8. 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  11. 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  12. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  13. 1 teaspoon oregano
  14. 1 cup bread crumbs
  15. 1 cup oil for deep frying
  16. For serving/assembling
  17. 1 onion sliced
  18. 1 toamto sliced
  19. 1 cucumber thinly sliced
  20. 2 cheese slices
  21. 1 teaspoon oregano
  22. 1/4th teaspoon black pepper powder
  23. 1/4th teaspoon salt or to taste
  24. 2 teaspoon ready made funfoods eggless mayonnaise
  25. 1 teaspoon funfoods mustard sauce

Instructions

  1. First of all gather all the ingredients
  2. Take a big plate and add mashed potatoes, green peas, green chillies, coriander leaves, spring onion greens, half of maida, dry powdered spices and salt and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty.
  4. Make a thick batter by mixing rest of the refined flour and water.
  5. Dip each patty in the batter and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan and deep fry the patties on medium heat until golden brown.
  7. Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.
  8. For assembling Cut oregano flavoured burger buns into half (horizontally).
  9. Apply funfoods readymade eggless mayonnaise generously on the lower half of the bun and top with slices of onion, tomato and cucumber.
  10. Lay the aaloo patty and drizzle funfoods mustard sauce
  11. Sprinkle oregano, black pepper powder, salt to taste.
  12. Finally cover with cheese slice and the top half of the burger bun.
  13. Now heat it for a minute in microwave so that the cheese melts.
  14. Serve hot immediately with ketchup.
  15. Enjoy delicious energy packed flavourful Indo Italian Burger.
