As we all know Hyderabadi biryani is very famous all over world. This is a biryani in which the uncooked chicken and half cooked rice is cooked on dum mode.
It can be served with raita.
Wash & clean the chicken
In a bowl take chicken add ginger garlic paste, curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dhaniya powder. Cummin powder, salt, garam masala,and mix
Now add curd , sprinkle Coriander leaves
Add chopped mint leaves , Whole green chillies
3-4 table spoon oil, Add crushed fried onion , Lemon juice
Mix well with hand, & keep for marination
Soak rice
Ina big vessel boil the water
Add salt
Whole garam masala
Drops of lemonjuice
Let it boil
When water boils add rice
Cook only 75-80%
Once cooked drain the water
In same vessel spread marinated chicken. On top of the chicken spread rice layer. Add oil and little ghee over it. Spread food colour mixed with milk. Sprinkle fried onion
Sprinkle mint n coriander leaves. On top again add little oil or ghee
Keep it on dum by covering the lid properly. Cook on dum for 15-20 mins.
