ABOUT Besan roti RECIPE

Besan roti is flavourful and healthy flat bread,it is high in protein n glutenfree. When we make this flat bread mixing oats than its nutrition values go up. As oats it high in fibre n it helps to reduce the cholestrol in our body and helps to loose weight.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup gram flour( besan)
  2. 1 cup oats flour
  3. 1 onion
  4. 2 greenchillies
  5. 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 tea spoon coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tea spoon aamchoor powder( dry mango powder)
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1/2 tea spoon cummin seeds
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Oil/ ghee as required

Instructions

  1. Take 1 cup gram flour.
  2. Warm or dry roast oats and grind to make a fine powder
  3. Take onion n grate it
  4. Finally chop greenchillies
  5. Chop coriander leaves
  6. In a bowl add gramflour and oats flour mix well.
  7. Now add grated onion
  8. Add green chillies
  9. Coriander leaves
  10. Turmeric powder
  11. Add coriander powder to it
  12. Now add aamchoor powder
  13. Now cummin seeds
  14. Finally add salt.
  15. Mix all the ingredients with flour
  16. If required add little water and make dough
  17. Give 15 min rest to the dough
  18. Now take little dough make a peda apply dry flour.
  19. Now roll it into roti shape
  20. Not too thin nor too thick
  21. Roast on heated tawa
  22. Roast from both side, apply ghee or oil.
  23. Besan roti is ready to serve
