Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Aloevera-3long stems
  2. Oil-1tbsp
  3. Jeera-1tsp
  4. Curd-2tbsp
  5. Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  6. Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
  7. Amchur powder-1/2tsp
  8. Sugar-pinch
  9. Turmeric powder-2tsp
  10. Salt-to taste

Instructions

  1. Leave the aloevera stem for sometime and let the mucilage leave
  2. Wash the aloevera stem well with water
  3. Cut the edges of the stem and cut it in to pcs
  4. Wash twice or thrice well with water
  5. Add it to fresh water with little salt and turmeric and let it boil till it cooks soft
  6. Strain the water after it cooks..can use the water for kneading dough as it is nutritious
  7. In a pan add oil,jeera,aloevera,all the powders except curd..cook till the raw smell goes
  8. Now,add curd to the above mixture ,mix and switch off the flame
  9. Serve with dosa,chapathi and pooris..
