ABOUT Healthy dosa . RECIPE

A tasty dosa with broken wheat , urud dal, fenugreek & poha. we can make idly also with this same batter.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Broken Wheat 1 cup
  2. brown poha 1/4 cup( or flat poha)
  3. Urud dal 1/2 cup
  4. methi seeds 1 tbsp
  5. Red Chillies 2
  6. Curry leaves a few
  7. Salt
  8. seseme oil just to apply ( u can use any oil)

Instructions

  1. Soak wheat , poha , urud dal & methi seeds separately for a few hrs.
  2. grind everything, one by one , in the blender adding enough water & salt.
  3. if it s for idly the consistency of batter should b a little thick. or if it s for dosa u can add some more water. so be careful while adding water while grinding.
  4. mix the batter well.
  5. leave it for 4 or 5 hrs to ferment.
  6. Then stir well & make thin dosas applying oil on sides.
  7. serve hot with coconut chutney onion chutney or sambar.
