Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cashew 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Water 6 tsp
  4. Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Grind cashew nuts to fine powder.dont grind too much.cashew nuts powder becomes oily.
  2. In pan add sugar and water to boil.dont over cook.( sugar dissolves in water after 2 min)add cashew powder.stir well.add cardamom powder.
  3. once the cashew paste turns to dough leaving the pan add little amount of ghee.
  4. Mix well till cashew dough is formed leaving the pan.Transfer the Cashew dough to butter plate.grease hand with little ghee and knead 30 seconds
  5. Press to form uniform layer.then roll the dough using rolling pin.cut the edges and cut the pieces in different shapes.
  6. Cashew Barfi is ready to taste.
