ABOUT Cashew Coconut Burfi RECIPE

A desert made with coconut and cashew nuts. a perfect sweet for all occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. I cup grated coconut( remove the brown skin)
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 20 whole cashew
  4. 1/ 4 cup warm milk to soak the cashew
  5. 1/2 tesp cardamom powder
  6. 1 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. Soak cashew in warm milk for 15 minutes
  2. Transfer the cashew and grated coconut to a mixi jar and grind it smooth
  3. Transfer to a non stick pan along with the sugar,keep it on medium low heat
  4. Cook stiring until it starts leaving the side of the pan
  5. Add ghee and cardamom powder,stir to form a lump,remove transfer to a greased plate and level it with a spatula.
  6. Set aside for 5 minutes ,slice them
  7. Cashew coconut burfi is ready.
