ABOUT Sweet and Tangy Mango Ice-Cream RECIPE

A recipe where you can eat two mangoes at a time, you can get the sweet taste from the ripe mango and the tangy taste from the raw mango. I have also added a little chili to get all the flavours together.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the sweet part:
  2. 1 cup sweet mango cubes
  3. 2 tbsp curd
  4. 1 tsp sugar
  5. For the tangy part:
  6. 1 cup raw mango cubes
  7. 2 tbsp curd
  8. 2 tbsp Sugar
  9. 1 green chili (optional)
  10. Small cubes of sweet and raw mango cubes for garnishing
  11. Ice cream sticks in moulds

Instructions

  1. For the sweet part, mix all the ingredients and blend to form a smooth puree.
  2. For the tangy part, mix all the listed ingredients except the curd and give it a churn. Now add curd and blend to form a smooth puree.
  3. Take the ice cream moulds, first put in the raw mango puree and freeze it for 15 mins. Now pour the sweet mango puree on it. ( I have used small glasses)
  4. Garnish with small mango cubes. Insert ice cream sticks in the middle. Freeze them for 8 to 10 hrs.
  5. After this time, demould it by keeping it in the water for sometime and enjoy.
