Beetroot is a veg that provide the iron and increases the blood in our body.It helps to treat animia.Beet can be used as in curry,raita,chutney,rice.etc.This recipe is the breakfast bomb which. act as a starter for body in the morning.Its easy to make and require just beet and potato.One of the advantage is that it can be either baked,oil froed for pan fried with little drop of oil.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1beet and 1medium potato boiled
  2. 1/2 tsp :jeera pow,methi pow,coriander pow
  3. 1tsp:chaat masala,chilli pow
  4. 1/4tsp amchoor
  5. 1/4cup breadcrumbs
  6. FOR CHUTNEY
  7. 4-5 tomato,1onion,2red chilli
  8. 1tsp:rai,methi,chilli pow,madras curry pow
  9. 1/2tsp ginger garlic paste
  10. 1tbsp tomato paste,amchoor
  11. pinch of sugar

Instructions

  1. Ina bowl mash potato and grate beet
  2. add all remaining ingredients.Shape and shallow fry
  3. FOR CHUTNEY
  4. Heat oil and give tadka of rai,methi and chilli
  5. As rai splutter add paste and fry till raw smell disappears
  6. Add onion and fry till translucent and then add tomato .sprinkle curry powder c
  7. Add 1/4cup water and boil for 10min.Reduce heat and cook till oil separate
  8. sprinkle chili powder ,amchoor and sugar.Mix well and serve with tikki
