Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 Capsicum cut into 1 inch cubes
  2. 1/4 cup Gram flour
  3. 2 tbsp oil
  4. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. salt to taste
  7. 1 pinch of asafoetida
  8. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 2 tsp red chilly powder
  10. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  11. 2 tbsp roasted & crushed
  12. 1-1/2 tamarind pulp(optinal)

Instructions

  1. Deseed and cut the 4 capsicums into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan .
  3. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and cumin seeds change colour and add a asafoetida and add gram flour .
  4. Stir continuously till light brown .
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder , garam masala powder and salt.
  6. Cook for 1 minute .
  7. Stir in approximately 1 cup of water to make a thick gravy..
  8. Add tamarind pulp anf mix well.
  9. Add capsicum cubed and stir well till coated with the gram flour masala cover and cook on low heat ..
  10. Sprinkle 2 tbsp crushed peanuts and serve it hot with chapati or prandha.
