ABOUT Jowar Bhakhri RECIPE

This is again a traditional breakfast that I make at home which is delicious and healthy as well , as jowar contains a very high protein and fiber content.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 cup millet flour [jowar]
  2. 2 boiled potatoes
  3. 1 grated raddish
  4. Salt
  5. 1/4 th tsp red chilly powder
  6. Butter [as required]

Instructions

  1. Mash the potatoes and add rest of the ingredients to it.
  2. Now knead a soft dough with the ingredients, water might not be required as the radish releases water but if the dough gets too dry, then add required amount of water to knead a perfect dough.
  3. Now rest for few minutes and divide the dough into equal sized portions, roll them to form the rotis.
  4. Roast them on a hot tawa, making sure that they are cooked on all sides.
  5. Add a dollop of butter on top, while serving. You can serve them with pickle and curd.
